A video showing the making of the last episode of the MBC drama “Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-joo” was released Thursday.

In the series, Lee Sung-kyung, played the female lead role of a weightlifter, Bok-joo. Nam Joo-hyuk, the male lead, played her best friend, Joon-hyung.

The final episode featured them in a college graduation scene, along with some sweet exchanges as a couple.

After filming the final scene, both of them received appreciation awards from the drama’s director.

Lee and Nam also expressed their appreciation to fans.

“I had so much fun filming the drama and I’m glad it ended well. I feel great right now,” Nam said.

Lee added, “‘Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-joo’ was loved by so many viewers.”

She wanted to go on but ended up bursting into tears.

The 16-episode drama ended Wednesday.
