GD of Big Bang is poised to release a new solo album in the coming weeks with agency YG Entertainment fine-tuning the timing.

According to a local news outlet, GD is working on a new album and planning on a solo concert.

“It is true that GD is working on his new solo album, but the release date has yet to be set,” said YG Entertainment.

If GD releases a new album, it will be after a four-year hiatus as a solo act. He previously released “Heartbreaker” (2009), “One of a Kind” (2012) and “Coup D‘Etat” (2013).
