The 12th episode of “Guardian,” which aired Saturday, showed kiss scenes of the two main couples with contrasting emotions.

Ji Eun-tak, played by Kim Go-eun, summoned Dokkaebi Kim Shin, played by Gong Yoo, to a small photo booth by blowing out a match flame.

After they took the photo, Ji intended to head out for her part-time job. When Kim insisted on staying in the small space together, she gave him a sudden peck on the lips, saying that she needs to hurry.



In contrast, Kim Sun, played by Yoo In-na, and Wang Yeo, played by Lee Dong-wook, created one of the most tragic moments of the drama when they kissed to recover Wang’s memory. The kiss worked, but what Wang recalled about their previous lives was unsettling.



The regained memory will help the main characters uncover what happened in their previous lives as the drama heads toward its climax.
