iKon greeted fans on Naver V app on Saturday in a broadcast called “KONY’s YEAR GREETING.”

The group received the “Best New Artist Award” last month at the 2016 Japan Record Awards.

The boy group said that “since we’re foreigners in Japan, we didn’t expect to receive any award at all.” iKon stressed that it was really grateful to fans for “giving so much love.”

The group also promised to release a new album and continue with its activities this year.

Yunhyeong showed off his cooking skills by serving the traditional Korean dish Tteokguk to the rest of the group. “Let’s be happy throughout the year. Healthy, long life to you,” the seven-member-group said.
