Eleven online users were slapped with fines for posting malicious messages, Thursday.

“We notified last November that we would take legal actions for libel cases regarding our artists,” Loen Entertainment said Thursday. “We have filed complaints for libel regarding IU, and the court confirmed penalties for the 11 cases last year.”

The agency did not disclose details of the cases, citing expressions that could hurt the artist, her family and her fans.

Loen said it would continue to respond to malicious online messages to protect the artists.
