Infinite’s Sungyeol and rookie actress Lee Ye-hyun will pair up for a one-act fantasy thriller tentatively titled “Cold Case Task Force,” JMG Good Pictures said Tuesday.

“Cold Case Task Force” will be a story of a rookie detective and intern reporter who tackles an unsolved crime with their special talents and passion.

Sungyeol will play a detective trainee gifted with a special power that could allow him to achieve great things in his field. But he is also held back by affliction with dyslexia.

As he nearly gives up his dream due to failing tests necessary to become an official detective, he coincidentally catches a thief and lands the job he wants.

Lee Ye-hyun will play an ex-soccer player who becomes an intern at a sports news agency following a fatal accident that puts a stop to her professional sports career.

She is laid off due to her incompetent writing, but a fortuitous encounter with the male lead helps her land an exclusive story.

Shooting for the TV drama begins this month.
