The Vietnamese version of Korean parenting reality show “Oh! My Baby” was recently launched to positive reviews.

The adaptation, “Children From the Planet,” was produced by a Vietnamese production, Lime Entertainment, in collaboration with the original producer, SBS. The show aired through satellite TV network HTV2 and VTVcab1.

The variety show marked the second highest viewership of 1.8 percent at that time, and sold 91 percent of its TV commercials. The episode uploaded to HTV2’s official YouTube channel has already received more than 50,000 views, proving the show’s online popularity.

“It recorded high viewership rates for its first episode and we’re expecting even more interest from the audience. It will become an unprecedentedly high quality program that will satisfy both advertisers and viewers,” said local broadcasters.

Based on the success, SBS will continue promoting global co-productions in the Southeast Asian broadcasting market, including Indonesia and Thailand, according to SBS.
