Singer-actress Hyeri, a member of Girls’ Day, recently spoke about the future of the K-pop group, which has been on hiatus for 17 months.

In an interview with fashion magazine Grazia Korea, she said the group has been taking a prudent approach and have felt burdened about returning to the music scene.

“Girls’ Day has been on hiatus for a long time,” said the 22-year-old. “We have gone through a period of contemplation, which has delayed our comeback and made all of us feel burdened to meet fans’ expectation.”

Girls’ Day debuted in 2010. It has not unveiled any song since the release of its “Girls’ Day Love Second Album,” which marked the group’s second full-length album.
