Actor Park Bo-gum greeted by 4,000 fans in Hong Kong

Park Bo-gum, the star of South Korean TV series "Love in the Moonlight," met about 4,000 fans in Hong Kong on the second leg of his tour of Asian countries to meet international fans, his agency said Sunday.

Park, who played the charming Crown Prince Lee Yeong, sang a Christmas carol before fans and unveiled his photos taken at Victoria Park, one of Hong Kong's most popular tourist destinations, during the fan meeting event on Saturday, according to Blossom Entertainment.

"I'm happy because I can spend precious time with you before Christmas and thank you," Park said. "I'll study foreign languages hard so I can directly talk with my fans in Hong Kong sometime later."

The 23-year-old actor, who rose to stardom in his role in the 2015-16 TV series "Reply 1988," began the tour in Malaysia on Dec.
10.

After Hong Kong, he is scheduled to fly into Indonesia, Taiwan, Tokyo, Thailand, Singapore and then return to Seoul early next year. (Yonhap)
