Do Kyung-soo will play the lead role in a new film, tentatively dubbed “Room No. 7,” due to start filming in January, according to local reports Monday.

Do, who is a member of EXO and goes by the name D.O., will play a part-time employee at a DVD bang, a business that allows customers to watch DVDs in designated rooms.

He is set to co-star with Shin Ha-kyun, who will play the owner of the DVD bang.

Meanwhile, Do is increasingly gaining a foothold as an actor, backed by his recent success in comedy “My Annoying Brother.”
