Boy band B1A4 members were investigated by the police after it was alleged that they were sexually harassed during a hazing party before appearing on Saturday’s episode of “Saturday Night Live Korea 8.”

According to the police, B1A4 members on Thursday submitted statements to the police.

The ongoing police investigation seeks to examine whether comedian Lee Se-young sexually harassed the B1A4 members. Lee is alleged to have sexually harassed the boy group members on Nov. 26. The clip containing the incident went viral after the Saturday’s episode aired.

B1A4’s agency, WM Entertainment, expressed regret over the case.

“We are distressed by the controversy B1A4 is under, immediately after it released a new album,” a source from WM Entertainment told media. “We regret that B1A4 is not able to focus on the activities.” The group released the full-length album “Good Timing” on Monday.

Under Korean criminal law, a perpetrator of sexual harassment is subject to a prison sentence of up to 10 years or maximum fine of 15 million won ($12,800)
