Solbin of K-pop group Laboum spoke on the restrictions imposed on her as an idol group member in an interview with fashion media outlet International Bnt.

When asked what she does on her days off, she said Laboum members should stay in the office instead of enjoying free time.

“I have to go for training in our office because we are not allowed to hang out with friends outside,” the 19-year-old said. “If we get our first win, we will be given some freedom.”

She added her agency, NH Media, prohibits Laboum members from dating and owning cell phones.

“I submitted my phone to them when I made my debut three years ago and I haven’t gotten it back,” she said. “(The agency) promised to return the phones to us when we have our first victory. We are getting used to life without cell phones.”

She and her bandmates take turns using their manager’s smartphones to take selfies, she added.

When asked if she has ever thought of quitting, she said, “If I say no to this, I would be lying. But If I really quit, what else could I do?.”

More details of the interview and pictures featuring her will be available on International Bnt’s website.
