Singer Jung Seung-hwan set a new record on Tuesday after sweeping all eight local music charts with his debut album ‘Voice.’

The title tracks “The Fool” and “That Winter” climbed to the top of all local music charts within a day of being released.

Concerning his achievement Jung told local media, “I am still in disbelief that I debuted and I have an album out with my name. I still can‘t believe that many people listen to my voice.”

“All I can say is thank you. I don’t really know what I have that makes me special and I will probably have a hard time figuring it out but I promise to work hard,” he added.

Jung was the runner-up on season four of SBS survival talent competition “K-pop Star” in 2015. He later signed with Antenna Music a few days after the final stage of “K-pop Star.”
