Boy band Beast is reportedly facing the prospect of being unable to use Beast as the team name and sing songs released under Cube Entertainment.

According to local media Tuesday, Beast is “almost” ready to set up its own agency, titled “Good Luck,” with investment from Hong Kong.

“They are in the final stages of establishing the agency,” a source familiar with the matter was quoted as saying.

The source added that Beast members were so keen to be separate from Cube Entertainment that they were “prepared” to forfeit the copyright of their songs and band name used under the former agency.

Beast decided not to renew its contract with Cube Entertainment after it ended on Oct. 15. Beast rejected Cube Entertainment’s offer to promise the boy band an independent label under the agency. Beast has remained independent without an agency since Oct. 15.
