B1A4

Boy band B1A4 celebrated Jinyoung’s 25th birthday late Saturday night via a Naver V app broadcast.

Shinwoo of B1A4 appeared first on the show with a birthday cake for Jinyoung, which he said had been slightly damaged by Sandeul.

They entered Jinyoung's hotel room with the candles lit on the cake, but had some trouble with the lighters. B1A4 was staying in a hotel on Jeju Island.

Jinyoung said Sandeul was acting a little bit strange before the cake arrived.

"I skipped dinner so I wanted to have some snacks," he said. "Then Sandeul came in and did not let me eat snacks. I couldn't figure out why."

Members regretted that they celebrated his birthday late because they were on location for a music video for an upcoming song, slated for release on Nov. 28.

At the end of the show, B1A4 thanked fans for watching the Naver V app broadcast in the dead of night.

Apink

Girl group Apink took fans on a behind-the-scenes tour before their Taiwan gig Friday.

During the show, members took turns thanking Korean fans as tickets for the group’s year-end concert in Seoul sold out.

Chorong, who mainly hosted the show, introduced some gifts they received from Taiwanese fans. The gifts included the popular Taiwanese cake, castella, as well as a drawing game machine containing fortune-cookie-like messages in capsules.

Hayoung, however, broke the game machine minutes after members started playing it. The band members huddled around the machine to fix it and got it working again by the end of the broadcast.

The show was held before the launch of the group’s Asia tour, "Apink Pink Aurora Asia tour" in Taiwan Friday. Their next destination is Singapore on Friday.

GFriend

Girl group GFriend members SinB and Umji talked about what it was like taking Suneung, the Korean written college entrance exam, in a live show through Naver V app Saturday.

Umji said the atmosphere was not as heavy as she expected at the venue for the exam.

"It was not much different from what it was like during the final exam," Umji said. "But I could feel the tension of students there."

Eunha joined the show in the middle and asked them questions. One of the questions she asked was if SinB and Umji liked the lunchbox the band mates prepared for them the day before Suneung.

Umji said she was not only moved by the bandmates' "lunchbox of affection," but also felt proud of the girls because her mother did not need to worry about lunch on "such a big day."

The show also indicated that SinB and Umji did not have lunch together, as Umji had lunch with her classmates.

Umji added she was surprised and felt a sense of comfort when she found out Sowon, Yerin and Eunha did not get to bed until 5 a.m. in order to finish preparing the lunchbox.
