Actor Park Seo-joon made surprise appearance at the KBS 2TV‘s late night talk show “Yoo Hee-yeol’s Sketchbook” Saturday to endorse his friend, singer Hyolyn.

In Sunday’s episode, Park addressed Hyolyn as a “diva,” who is so close to him that “his parents know her.”

“Whenever a Sistar album is out, I listen to the full album, especially the title track,” Park said. “I am grateful to have such a great friend.”

He added he did not expect to become her friend, when he first knew Sistar during his military service.

Hyolyn called Park a friend “like a lighthouse,” while explaining her trust in him.

When asked whether there were any moments where it might develop into romantic relationship, Hyolyn said: “He treats me like a male friend.”

Park responded by joking that his favorite girl group was Twice instead of Sistar.

Guests of “Yoo Hee-yeol’s Sketchbook” mainly talk about their lives and music with the host and composer Yoo Hee-yeol. The show is aired on Saturdays at midnight.
