BTS wraps up ‘Wings’ activities

Boy band BTS wrapped up its 4-week promotional activities for “Wings” with an appearance on the Sunday stage in SBS’ music program “Inkigayo.”

The bands second full-length album, which came out on Oct. 10, marked a career high reaching No. 26 on the US Billboard 200 and stayed there for two weeks. This is the third time BTS has entered the Billboard charts.

The seven-member boy band claimed top spot on iTunes in 97 countries and have made history by becoming the first K-pop act to enter the UK Official Albums Chart at No. 62.

On home ground BTS’ lead track “Blood, Sweat & Tears” clinched 6 wins on Korean music programs.

The 15-track album also included solo tracks from each member.

Meanwhile, BTS will hold an event for its international fan community A.R.M.Y in Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul on Saturday and Sunday.
