‘708090’ set for Korea release Thursday

A teaser clip for Chinese film “708090” released Friday heralded its upcoming release in Korean theaters, set for Thursday.

The romance film, starring actor Kenji Wu and actresses Song Ji-hyo and Zhou Yihuan, revolves around a scion, played by Wu, and a managerial-level employee falsely accused of whistle-blowing played by Song. The employee overcomes the challenge with the help of the scion, and their relationship develops.

Released in China in May, “708090” marked Song’s debut in China. It has grossed just some 436,000 yuan ($64,500).
