Message of hope is secret behind ‘Luck-Key’ popularity

“Many viewers seem to have sympathized with the protagonist played by Yoo Hae-jin,” a source involved in the production was quoted as saying in Sports Donga, a local news outlet, Thursday.
“The character at the height of his career suffers amnesia and is thrust into the lower class of the economic hierarchy. There, he never gives up and pioneers a new way of life with his set of skills, which carry a message of hope,” the source added.
The message of hope seemed to have resonated with the Korean public with Sports Donga dubbing the theme as “comedy that heals.” But this theme is not something new -- it featured in “Miracle in Cell No. 7” in 2013 and “Miss Granny” in 2014.
