Actor Kim Woo-bin will become the next Korean star to release a mobile phone under his name, his management agency said Thursday.

Kim, who recently played the star-crossed male lead in the TV series "Uncontrollably Fond," will be the model of a Samsung Galaxy
S7 phone to be released for limited availability on Nov. 21, according to sidusHQ.

The phones will come with various functions featuring Kim, including his schedule, a morning call service and ringtone playing his voice, and emojis, pictures and videos of the actor.

The handsets can be pre-ordered online on AK Mall starting Friday, and part of the sales will be donated for surgeries for children with rare diseases, the agency said.

Kim, 27, is next scheduled to appear in the crime-action flick "Master," which is set to premiere next month.

Actors Park Hae-jin and Lee Jong-suk have also released mobile phones bearing their names. (Yonhap)
