Black Pink released music videos for both its new songs “Playing with Fire” and “Stay” on V on Monday.

“Stay” garnered over 1.5 million V hearts as of 10 a.m. Tuesday, while “Playing with Fire” stayed at 600,000.

Contrarily on the most popular online domestic chart, Melon, “Playing with Fire” ranked the second most popular after Twice’s “TT,” while “Stay” did not perform as well.

The two new songs are part of Black Pink’s second release, “Square Two,” which also contains an acoustic version of “Whistle,” the group’s song from first single, “Square One.”

Sistar member Hyolyn released her collaboration song with Jay Park, called “One Step,” at midnight Monday via V, which went straight to the upper reaches of the domestic music charts.

The 25-year-old is preparing to release an EP on Nov. 8. This is her soloist work in three years away from the rest of her group members.

Taeyeon

Taeyeon, a member of the iconic K-pop girl group Girls’ Generation, is letting out a surprise solo single “11:11,” for which she released a teaser clip Monday through V.

She is shown lying on a white mattress placed on a beach next to the breaking waves.

Taeyeon also sang the background song “All For You” for the TV drama “Scarlet Heart: Ryeo” featuring actors Lee Joon-gi and Lee Ji-eun.

EXO-CBX

Highlights from EXO subunit EXO-CBX’s debut stage performance were compiled in to a single clip and uploaded on V app, Monday.

The 3-minute length video showing the trio singing “Hey Mama!” instantly pulled in more than 1 million hearts.

EXO-CBX is the newest subunit of S.M. Entertainment’s blue chip boy band EXO. The subunit comprises of Chen, Baekhyun and Xiumin.

In a follow-up V video, the three stars lay down in a row in pajamas for what appeared to be a sleepover party.

Xiumin, asked what he does to escape the routines of life, replied, “I’m too timid to deviate.”

He said, “I really wanted to go on an overseas trip on my own, but you know, I get a little scared at the prospect of maybe getting lost.”

Xiumin was jokingly called a Smurf by Baekhyun, the tallest of the three.
