Actor Lee Joon-gi shared behind-the-scenes footage of Prince Wang Eun’s death in the SBS period drama “Scarlet Heart: Ryeo” on the V app on Sunday.

The short clip shows Lee rehearsing the death scene with EXO member Baekhyun. Lee can be seen encouraging and giving tips to the idol-actor as he tries to muster the emotions to film the scene.

During a short interview, Lee said that he was genuinely sad that Baekhyun will no longer be on set, and he praised Baekhyun for working hard in the drama.

While Lee and Baekhyun were resting between takes, Lee started to sing Jung Jae-wook’s ballad “Goodbye,“ which helped Baekhyun channel his emotions for the upcoming scene.
