‘Kiss the Radio’ to change routine of Lee Hong-ki

Lee Hong-ki, a member of rock band FT Island, will host the nighttime radio program “Kiss the Radio” starting Monday and he said this is likely to change his daily routine.

“At first I regretted not being able to hang out at night anymore,” said the 26-year-old singer at a promotion event. “But I realized that I can go practice bowling after hosting the show. Furthermore, I quit drinking alcohol.”

The radio program had been hosted by members of the boy band Super Junior since 2006, two years after the show was launched.

The last member to host it was Leeteuk, who emceed the show until Oct. 2. Kang Kyun-sung, a singer and member of rhythm and blues group Noel, hosted the show for two weeks until Sunday.

The radio show airs daily from 10 p.m. to midnight.
