Jinyoung of boy band B1A4 sent well wishes to his bandmates, who went to Busan to perform at the Busan One Asia Festival on Saturday, while regretting not having been able to join them.

Clad in traditional Korean wardrobe and a top knot, “sangtu” in Korean, Jinyoung explained the filming schedule for his TV drama did not allow him to go to Busan.

“I regret not being able to join the performance,” he said. “I would like to apologize for this to bandmates and fans.”

Jinyoung added he already gave Sandeul’s upcoming songs a listen, which he assessed as “praiseworthy.”

“I knew he can sing,” said Jinyoung, referring to Sandeul, “But this time he nailed the parts. I’m so proud of him.”

Jinyoung is currently playing the part of scholar Kim Yoon-sung, who assists Hong Ra-on, disguised as a street-smart young girl pretending to be a boy to survive, in period series “Moonlight Drawn by Clouds,” which has six episodes remaining to air.

The drama series stars Park Bo-gum as Prince Lee Young and Kim Yoo-jung as a woman disguised as a eunuch.
