Apink

K-pop group Apink gathered at its agency’s office in Hapjeong-dong, Seoul, to gauge which of its members could scream the loudest.

The video, recorded on May 29, was aired on V on Tuesday. The group’s members were asked to scream into a decibel meter to discern who was the loudest.

They seemed bewildered but obliged anyway.

After each of the group’s six members had taken their turn, the agency’s staff announced that they were to go on trips to other Asian countries for extreme adventures that are bound to make them scream.

The destinations were determined by the strength of each member’s scream.

The youngest member Hayoung was to go through a horror expedition in Japan. Namjoo was to be sent to Japan, too, but she was to ride a super-fast rollercoaster at an amusement park.

Bomi was assigned to go to Taiwan for a scary amusement park ride.

Eunji, who had always wanted to go skydiving or rafting, was to do bungee jumping in Macau.

Chorong was to visit a mountain in Korea where she was warned she would have a goosebumps-inducing experience.

Naeun was set to go to Guam for skydiving, which made the other members envious.

Once the girls complete their adventures, a follow-up clip will be aired on V.

Mamamoo

Quartet Mamamoo’s Solar and Moonbyul hosted a short V broadcast Tuesday, following the launch of the group’s new song “New York.”

Mamamoo released the music video for the single on YouTube on Tuesday, and the digital track at midnight on online music platforms.

During the V broadcast, Solar spoke about the short hairstyle she had tried out for a change.

“I thought I would look OK in short hair,” said the star who had her usual long hair back for the V show. “But no, I will never cut my hair. Never short hair again.”

Solar said between laughs, “I have eyes too, don’t I? I know, everyone, I will never cut my hair, I promise.”

Mamamoo is gearing up for full-scale music activities in October.

Girl’s Day

Quartet Girl’s Day’s member Minah did a V show dressed in casual pajamas and without any makeup on Tuesday night.

The K-pop star lounged on her bed, singing along to pop songs “Can’t Take My Eyes off You,” “Love Yourself” and “Boyfriend.”

Gfriend

It had released the Japanese version of its full-length album “LoL” in Japan and performed in Osaka and Tokyo on Saturday and Sunday, respectively.

The group returned to Korea on Tuesday.
