Bobby’s new single ‘HOLUP’ sweeps Asian charts

YG Entertainment finally released Bobby‘s much anticipated “HOLUP” single and music video on Tuesday and, within less than a day, it managed to take over the Asian music charts.

Bobby’s “HOLUP” was released at midnight. Within hours, it secured the top position in all eight local music charts -- MelOn, Mnet, Olleh Music, Soribada, Genie, Bugs, Naver Music and Monkey3.

His success was repeated throughout Asia.

“HOLUP” took the No. 1 spot in the iTunes top singles chart in Hong Kong, Thailand and Vietnam. In Singapore, Taiwan and Malaysia it managed to reach No. 2. It also managed to get into the top 10 in a number of other South-East Asian countries.

This has driven up the anticipation for Mino‘s single, which is scheduled to drop on Thursday, and Bobby and Mino‘s unit duo, MOBB, which is scheduled to debut on Friday.
