YG Entertainment released Friday a behind-the-scenes clip from the set of CL’s new song, “Lifted.”

CL, who is also a member of girl-group 2NE1, in an interview revealed that the video was filmed in Brooklyn, New York City. Also, the interview suggested that “Lifted” was inspired by American hip-hop crew Wu-Tang Clan‘s rapper Method Man.

The three-minute-long clip featured not only CL, but also creative director Tanisha Scott, Method Man who featured in the music video, director Dave Meyers, and CL’s friends from “all walks of life,” who danced together in the latter half of the music video.

The directors for the show praised CL for her professionalism.

“She‘s very game for whatever it is I come up with,” Meyers said. “And that makes it a really inspiring creative experience.”

“It’s been a blessing,” Scott said. “I‘m so happy that CL is here.”
