tvN and JTBC continue viewership rivalry

Cable networks tvN and JTBC are expected to go head to head for viewership again, with their respective upcoming dramas “K2” and “Fantastic” in September.

January this year saw tvN’s “Signal” and JTBC’s “Madame Antoine” pitted against each other. When both dramas ended, tvN emerged with higher ratings of over 10 percent compared to JTBC’s 1 percent.

The two broadcasting companies clashed again with tvN’s “Memory” and JTBC’s “Ms. Temper and Nam Jung-gi.” The popularity of “Ms. Temper and Nam Jung-gi” allowed JTBC to overtake tvN this time.

This rivalry continued with tvN’s “Dear My Friends” and JTBC’s “Mirror of the Witch,” with tvN seeing higher viewership when both dramas wrapped up.

The ratings war is ongoing with tvN’s “Good Wife” and JTBC’s “Age of Youth.” At the moment, both seem to have a strong viewer base.
