Actor Kim Woo-bin and singer-actress Bae Suzy’s fan event in China was abruptly postponed three days before its scheduled date, a local daily reported Thursday.

This came about a week after Kim and Bae, currently starring in the drama “Uncontrollably Fond,” confirmed to participate in the fan event earlier in July.

According to Sports Daily, the production company which organized the meet-and-greet was not behind the decision.

“We were notified of the delay due to an ‘unavoidable reason’ from China,” a source from the production firm was quoted as saying. “We are looking into the exact reason for the delay.”

The event was slated to take place at the Olympic Sports Center Gymnasium in Beijing on Saturday.

“Uncontrollably Fond,” airs on Mondays and Tuesdays on network channel KBS 2TV in Korea and through Youku, a video-streaming platform in China.
