Song rose to international fame this year through his lead role in KBS drama “Descendants of the Sun,” which aired from February to April. He has starred in TV series “Sungkyunkwan Scandal” (2010) and the movie “A Werewolf Boy” (2012).

2. Lee Min-ho

Lee ("Boys over Flowers")

Lee first gained widespread fame through his lead role in “Boys over Flowers” (2009). He has since starred in other dramas such as “Personal Taste” (2010), and “City Hunter” (2011). He also featured in the Chinese film “Bounty Hunters,” which was released this year. Lee is dating Suzy from K-pop girl group Miss A.

3. Kim Soo-hyun

Kim ("My Love from the Star")

Kim starred in the TV series “My Love from the Star” (2014) and the movie “The Thieves” (2012).

4. So Ji-sub

So ("Master's Sun")

So starred in the TV series “Master‘s Sun” (2013) and “Oh My Venus” (2015).

5. Park Bo-gum

Park ("Reply 1988")

Park starred in the TV series “Hello Monster” (2015) and “Reply 1988” (2015). Park is from the same agency as Song Joong-ki, and the two are known to be very good friends.

6. Kim Woo-bin

Kim ("Uncontrollably Fond")

Kim starred in the movie “Friend: The Great Legacy” (2013). He is currently starring in KBS drama “Uncontrollably Fond” alongside Suzy from K-pop girl group Miss A. Kim is dating actress Shin Min-a.

7. Lee Jong-suk

Lee ("W")

Lee became good friends with Kim Woo-bin when both featured in teen drama “School 2013.” Lee is currently starring in MBC drama “W” alongside actress Han Hyo-joo.

Jo has played lead roles in the TV series ”What Happened in Bali“ (2004) and ”That Winter, the Wind Blows“ (2013).
