During a fan meeting in Hong Kong on Sunday, K-pop band Big Bang’s G-Dragon was surprised when a female fan unexpectedly kissed him on the cheek.

Big Bang had asked a female fan to join them on stage, and as G-Dragon leaned in to hear what the fan had to say, she planted a kiss on him.

Some fans at the event reacted in outrage and jealously, while G-Dragon appeared too flustered to react.

The incident made G-Dragon blush and he told the audience that he was in a really good mood, stirring up an even greater uproar among fans.

The surprise kiss soon became the most searched topic on Weibo, China’s largest social networking site.
Footage of the kiss and the identity of the fan have also been released online.

Some fans accused the female fan of sexual assault while others made negative comments that harshly criticized her.

This prompted her to apologize publicly and to ask for such messages to stop. She also asked netizens to stop sending messages to her friends and family.
