Jang Hyun-seung, who withdrew this year from boy band Beast, will participate in recording for Mnet’s new TV show, “Hit the Stage” on Sunday, according to local reports.

It will be Jang’s first appearance on the small screen since leaving the boy band.

Jang is expected to appear on the second episode of the show as well, along with Kim Chung-ha from I.O.I and FeelDog from Big Star.

“Hit the Stage” is a dance show where K-pop idols and professional dancers form teams and compete against each other. Its first episode will be broadcast on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Jang had been dragged into a fans’ dispute on his insincere attitude since 2012. Earlier this year, he was once again talked about, and eventually decided to leave the group.

The agency explained that it was due to “a personality clash with the members.”
