Girl’s Day’s Hyeri went live on the V app Saturday to share her hidden affinity to bowling and learning Chinese as hobbies.

During the live broadcast series, entitled, “Today’s Hyeri’s Day”, the girl group member proudly announced that she pursues bowling as a hobby.

“I go bowling nowadays,” Hyeri told V app viewers. “Yura had been saying that she scored higher marks, but I have got it all reverted.”

Hyeri added by saying that “I have never been much of a hobby type of person, but now I see what it is to have a hobby through bowling.”

Another hobby of hers is learning Chinese, she said. Fans were taken aback by Hyeri’s notebook full of Chinese characters, clearly indicating her enthusiasm and perseverance for language learning.

“I learned Chinese back in high school and I found it intriguing,” she said. “And I thought why not giving a go this time?”


Mamamoo

Mamamoo’s Solar, Wheein, and Moonbyul hosted a V-app episode to prank their youngest member, Hwasa on her birthday, but things did not go quite as expected.

The idols went on Naver’s V app to throw a birthday party for Hwasa, and they all agreed to add more fun in it. Moonbyul got a hold of Hwasa to lure her into a surprise trap, while Solar and Wheein tried to come up with pranks.

In the end, they decided to give a hidden camera prank a go. The prank, if it went as planned, was supposed to bewilder Hwasa and capture the “what-is-happening-here?” expression on her face, by giving her a hail of scolding and complaints about her being late when she arrived.

But it failed miserably; when the rest of the group started accusing Hwasa of being late as soon as she entered, she began to notice the somewhat awkward atmosphere and became suspicious.

Right on cue, Solar, Wheein and Moonbyul gave up and burst into laughter singing “Happy Birthday” with the cake.

Now, it was Hwasa’s turn for revenge. She jokingly made a wish on the candles by saying that “I wish that Solar’s acting skills would improve.”

Solar could not help herself but laugh out loud at the cost of her tacit acknowledgement about her poor acting.

After they gave Hwasa birthday gifts, Solar and the rest of the group thanked Mamamoo’s fans for all the uplifting messages and gifts they had sent in.
