Junsu, a member of K-pop trio JYJ, will play the lead in the musical “The Picture of Dorian Gray,” which is based on the novel of the same title by Oscar Wilde.

The musical centers on Dorian Gray who exchanges his soul for lasting beauty and youth.

Junsu has had a successful career both as a singer and musical actor. Tickets for his previous musicals, “Mozart!” (2010) and “Tears of Heaven” (2011) were all sold out. He has also starred in other musicals, such as “December” (2013), “Dracula”(2014) and “Death Note”(2015).

“The Picture of Dorian Gray” will run from Sept. 3 to Oct . 9 at the Opera House of Seongnam Arts Center.
