Winner’s ‘Welcome to Bandalland’ gains popularity in China

The 10th episode of JTBC’s reality show “Welcome to Bandalland” has surpassed 10 million views on the Chinese online media platform MiaoPai.

Within three days of the episode’s release, it was viewed some 10.6 million times through MiaoPai. So far, the show as a whole has garnered 75 million views via the Chinese platform as of Tuesday.

The episode aired on Saturday showed the members of Korean boy band Winner performing the sound track of the popular kids TV program “Turning Mecard.” They even wore costumes of the main characters in the children’s show.

“Welcome to Bandalland” features all five members of Winner and offer viewers child care tips, with the band’s members becoming instructors to children between 4 and 7 at a local kindergarten.
