Korean actor Song Joong-ki’s agency Blossom Entertainment has denied rumors about his personal life after Fenghuang TV, a Chinese media outlet, reported the actor visited Los Angeles for a vacation with his girlfriend.

The agency issued a response within 10 minutes of the report being published.

“The woman alleged to be Song’s girlfriend is his employee. Song vacationed abroad with several of his staff,” the statement from Blossom Entertainment said.

Song catapulted to stardom through his lead role in hit Korean TV drama “Descendants of the Sun,” which aired from February to April. The rise in Song’s popularity has led to increased rumors about his personal relationships.

Rumors circulated in March that Song was dating Song Hye-kyo, his on-screen love interest and co-star in “Descendants of the Sun.” The rumors stemmed from photos of the two wearing what seemed to be identical bracelets. It was later revealed that Song Hye-kyo was wearing a hair band on her wrist, not a bracelet.
