Park Shin-hye grew up to be a doctor, in the latest episode of the SBS drama series “Doctors,” which aired Tuesday.

After working at a provincial hospital, Hye-jung (Park Shin-hye) returns to Seoul to work at Kookil Hospital -- one of the biggest hospitals in Korea in the drama.

She realized that her arch enemy Seo-woo and her high-school homeroom teacher Ji-hong were both working as doctors in the same hospital. When Ji-hong brought a patient to the hospital in a helicopter, Hye-jung and Ji-hong finally met each other.

“Are you married? Do you have a boyfriend?” he asked. When Hye-jung said no, he walked away with a cheesy smirk.

Meanwhile, Seo-woo was shocked to find that someone she thought was in jail was right in front of her and working as a fellow doctor.

Other doctors at Kookil questioned the reason behind her move from a provincial hospital because she had a high salary at the former hospital.

Actually, Hye-jung was secretly looking for a medical record at Kookil in which her grandmother passed away during surgery.

The story is expected to get more interesting in the next episode as Hye-jung asks Ji-hong to search for her grandmother’s records which are only available to special staff members.

The medical-romance drama “Doctors” airs on channel SBS every Monday and Tuesday night.
