Wonder Girls gears up for comeback

K-pop girl group Wonder Girls are set to release a new album “Why So Lonely” at midnight on July 4, announced the group’s agency JYP Entertainment.

At midnight on Tuesday, the group unveiled the release plan for the upcoming album on official website wondergirls.jype.com.
It marks the first lead song written and composed by the band’s members, not singer-songwriter and CEO of the agency Park Jin-young.

All the Wonder Girls have proven themselves as musicians, participating in the production of the group‘s last studio album “REBOOT” released in August 2015.

The group will unveil teaser images and video, starting with the first teaser image at midnight on June 23, according to the schedule.

At midnight on July 3, the group will share the track list of the upcoming album, and they will hold a live premiere on Naver’s V app at 11:30 p.m. the following day.

The group’s first return performance will be staged on Mnet’s “M!Countdown” at 6 p.m. on July 7.
