Model-actor Nam Joo-hyuk may star in tvN’s cooking variety show “Three Meals a Day” season 3, according to multiple news reports Wednesday.

Nam will replace veteran actor Yoo Hae-jin who cohosted the reality show’s season 2 which aired from October to December 2015. The remaining cohosts -- actors Cha Seung-won and Son Ho-joon -- are expected to continue in the show, designed to give a glimpse of how to cook meals daily in a remote hamlet.

Nam rose to stardom as an actor with the role of Eun-taek in tvN’s drama series “Cheese in the Trap.”

“Three Meals a Day” season 3 is slated to premiere on July 1. The filming of the show is expected to start Thursday. Season 2, set in a fishing village, earned some 16.8 percent of national viewership at its highest.

Producer Na Young-suk on Tuesday said the cast for season 3 has been finalized.
