Kim Se-jeong and Kang Mi-na, winners of Mnet’s “Produce 101” and members of girl group I.O.I, will be part of agency Jellyfish’s first girl group, the agency announced Tuesday.

Jellyfish said in a statement that it plans to create a girl group.

“Jellyfish has trainees, including Kim and Kang, who have prepared for debut as a girl group,” Jellyfish said in a statement. “(We) decided to put the two into the new group, as we understand how hard they have trained themselves with fellow trainees to achieve their dream.”

The new girl group is set to debut in late June.

I.O.I, YMC Entertainment’s girl group made up of the 11 winners of the show “Produce 101,” is now on hiatus after their last gig in Dream Concert Saturday. Members may sustain activities in their original agency, other than YMC Entertainment.
