[V Report] Jessica spotted shooting ad

Jessica, who recently made her solo debut, appeared on the V app on Thursday from the set of an advertisement shooting. “I turned on the app because I wanted to say ‘hi’ to you,” the starlet said.

She introduced staff members and a dog Tux with whom she was filming. She also talked about Thursday’s fan meeting. “Yesterday’s fan meeting was a lot of fun. It has been a long time since I had a chance to sing in front of fans. I felt like I was dreaming,” she said. “There will be more (fan meetings) in the future.”

Meanwhile, singer Seo In-young appeared on the V app at 11p.m. on Thursday, an hour ahead of the release of her new album, which includes the ballad track “In Your Arms.”

She told fans that she is very happy to be back under the label Star Empire, which she was under from 2002 to 2009 as a member of girl group Jewelry.

“It’s like my parent’s house. I feel very comfortable and happy,” she said.

During the V app broadcast, former Jewelry member Park Jung-ah cheered for Seo over the phone and rapper Crown J, who was paired with Seo in the reality show “We Got Married,” made a surprise appearance. The two sang the duet “Too Much.”

Another star with a recent new release, singer Baek A-yeon also appeared on the V app. She released the solo track “So So,” which ranked No. 1 on a TV music program.

She said, “Gratefully, I earned the No.1 spot on ‘M Countdown.’”

“It’s my first time winning in four years since my debut, so I am dazed at the moment and I don’t know how to thank you. From now on, I will (sing songs) that connect with you and speak from my heart,” she added.

Staff from her label JYP Entertainment celebrated the occasion with her, with a cake, making her teary.

In another V app broadcast, girl group EXID members popped up from the traditional mountain fortress city of Namhansanseong in Gwangju, Geyonggi Province, where they were to record the music program “Open Concert.”

They were waiting inside a car for their turn on the show. The girls celebrated ranking first place on the iTunes Chart in Hong Kong and Taiwan.

The V app also released a short clip of actor Park Hae-jin’s recent visit to Beijing, where he was to star in a popular Chinese variety program “Fei Chang Jing Juli.”

More of Park’s visit, during which he tried Chinese cuisine and met fans, will be unveiled on the V app at 3 p.m. on Friday.
