Hip-hop musician and boy band Block B member Park Kyung said in an interview Thursday with local news outlet OSEN that he thought his duet partner in new song “Inferiority Complex” was “cute.”

Eunha, from girl group GFriend, featured in the song and made lisping sounds while recording Park’s second single as a solo musician.

“She lisped while singing ‘all men are the same’ in the bridge part, which was attractive to me,” Park told OSEN.

Park added he was attracted by Eunha’s voice when he heard GFriend’s “Rough.”

“While I was walking down a random street, wondering who the best match for a duet track would be, I noticed ‘Rough’ played,” Park said. “Then Eunha’s voice remained resonant, which led me to the choice.”

Park debuted as a solo musician with another duet song “Ordinary Love” featuring solo singer Park Bo-ram in September 2015. The track “Inferiority Complex” marks a return after an eight-month hiatus.

On Korean charts, “Inferiority Complex” is posing challenge to dominant tracks such as singer Baek A-yeon’s “So-So” and Twice’s “Cheer Up,” taking the No. 2 spot in six of eight local charts -- MelOn, Bugs, Mnet, Genie, Soribada and Monkey 3 -- as of 9 a.m. Thursday.
