Fashion magazine Elle Korea chose model-turned-actor Gang Dong-won as its cover model for May.

The photos were taken in Los Angeles and Gang showed his bohemian side by strolling casually on Venice Beach in relaxed outfits.

His aura mingled well with the background, reminding viewers of Romeo in director Baz Luhrmann’s cinematic interpretation of Shakespeare’s tragedy -- played by Leonardo DiCaprio.

The cover spread portrays him in a unique shirt with a blooming white rose detail and black capris.

Gang dons a striped shirt over vintage brown pants, emitting a comfortable summer vibe.

The actor gave a sneak peek into his next project, “Vanishing Time: A Boy Who Returned” by commenting that the film will be about “innocent romance with special sentiments.”

Gang’s schedule also includes filming for crime-action movie “Master” in which he stars along with actors Lee Byung-hun and Kim Woo-bin.
