Popular K-Pop six-member girl group Apink’s Jeong Eun-ji will begin solo activities by releasing her mini album on April 18, her agency Plan A Entertainment said Thursday.

She is reportedly putting the final touches to the solo album, according to an official from the agency.

Unlike many idols whose singing abilities have been called into question, the 22-year-old has been widely recognized for her singing skills since participating in some soundtracks of Korean TV dramas, such as “All For You,” “Still Our Love Continue” from cable channel tvN’s “Reply 1997,” (2012) and “It’s You” from SBS’ “3 Days.” (2014)

Furthermore, her duets with male singer Huh Gak -- “Short hair” (2013) and “Break Up to Make Up” (2014) -- were well-received by many fans, ranking at the top of several online music charts in Korea.

Jeong appeared in music variety shows, MBC’s “King of Mask Singers” in June 2015, and JTBC’s “Sugar Man” in February, captivating the audience with her excellent performances.
