Jung Yong-hwa of pop rock band CNBLUE talked about his music and personality in a recent interview with the local media.

“I think music represents one’s personality,” the 26-year-old said on Monday. “My personality is not too strong, for example, it’s like a vanilla ice-cream. While there are many different kinds of ice-cream, you can always have vanilla ice-cream without getting tired.”

He added, just like his easygoing personality, his music style is not too strong. “People can listen to it comfortably,” he said. “I think that’s why I write less dramatic songs. I don’t think I am a stereotypical rock star type. My (characteristics) are reflected in my songs as well.”

CNBLUE on Monday released a new EP “Blueming,” with the lead track “You’re So Fine.”
