TOP makes big screen debut in China

Big Bang rapper T.O.P, real name Choi Seung-hyun, will star in a Chinese film titled “Out of Control,” his management agency YG Entertainment confirmed Tuesday.

According to an official from his agency, he has been shooting for the film since flying to Germany on March 31.

The 28-year-old singer-actor portrays an Interpol agent, and delivers spectacular action in the movie.

Other cast members include world famous actor Al Pacino, and Hong Kong actress Cheung Pak-chi, also known as Cecilia Cheung.

The flick is completely filmed in Germany, and made by German director Axel Sand who previously worked in movies including “Final Contract” (2006) and “Fast Track: No Limits.” (2008)

TOP will make his big screen debut in China with this film, and it took about a year and a half for him to start shooting since he played in Korean R-rated crime drama “Tazza -- The Hidden Card” released in September 2014.

Due to his schedule of the movie, he is not able to attend the group’s fan event tour in Japan that begins on April 22.
