K-pop group Block B has swept music charts with its new single “A Few Years Later,” dethroning tracks from “Descendants of the Sun.”

As of 10 a.m. on Monday, “A Few Years Later” ranked first on local charts, including Melon, Bugs, Genie, Mnet, and Olleh Music.

Songs from the sound track of the hit drama series “Descendants of the Sun” lost their top spot where they had been for almost a month.

Unlike Block B’s previous tracks, “A Few Years Later” is closer to a sentimental love song. The track captures the feelings of despair and misery after a heartbreaking parting with a loved one.

Block B is scheduled to hold a concert at the Olympic Gymnastic Stadium on April 2 and 3.
