Korean network channel KBS 2TV’s TV fantasy drama series “Moorim School” aired its last episode on Tuesday, but its viewership was low at 3.7 percent nationwide. The first episode had its highest viewership of 5.1 percent.

According researcher Nielsen Korea, the viewer ratings of the 16th episode saw a 0.9 percent rise compared to the Monday episode.

The series, starring actors Lee Hyun-woo and VIXX’s Hong Bin, and actress Seo Ye-ji, ended happily. Yoon Shi-woo (Lee Hyun-woo) and Shim Soon-duk (Seo Ye-ji) tied the knot after all perils due to the loss of a mysterious key are gone.

The drama’s viewership ratings gradually fell since its first episode, to the point that the 11th episode recorded a low of 2.6 percent.
The drop came after criticism that the storyline was too unrealistic, which resulted in the channel’s decision to reduce four episodes from previously planned 20.
