Actor Lee Jong-suk is eyeing the Chinese market after taking a short break from Korean projects. Lee will star in Korean-Chinese drama “Jade Lover” (working title) as the male lead who falls in love with a Chinese celebrity in the ’30s. The total production cost of the drama is estimated to be 40 billion won ($33 million).

In the released stills, the actor shows off his sophisticated side with classic suits. Lee is currently filming in China. The blockbuster drama will air this summer through Chinese streaming platforms Tencent and iQiyi.
