Kicking off Thursday’s V app lineup was Eric Nam who returned this time with a special guest star -- American actress and model Chloe Moretz.

“I am here with a very, very special guest and friend of mine,” said Nam. “She just flew in, she’s probably very, very jetlagged and tired but she wanted to say ‘hi’ to everybody.”

He teased, “Are you guys ready?”

Nam finally introduced Moretz, who was excited to greet Korean fans. The actress revealed that she had just arrived from Paris and one of the first things she did when she arrived at her hotel room was to turn on MTV Korea.

“I turned on MTV Korea and watched a lot of K-pop,” said Moretz. “And Mamamoo was kind of a big hit for me. They have this one song called ‘1cm’ and I am really into it.”

The actress went to talk about her participation in a charity campaign to help underprivileged children around the world.

Also part of Thursday’s V app lineup was Mark, one of the rising young hallyu star idols of GOT7.

“Hey guys, I’m all alone and I came here to have a date with you all,” Mark says, in an episode that raked in more than 2.2 million hearts.

“I’m not usually by myself so it feels a little bit awkward,” he said, continuously bursting into laughter.

In a cafe, sipping a cappuccino and eating sweet potatoes, Mark spent the entire show simply chatting casually with viewers. He answered questions and practiced his language skills, speaking in a mixture of Korean, English and Thai.

The bandmates of N. Flying decided to treat V app fans to some live music. They gathered in their studio and belted out a rendition of Big Bang’s popular hit song, “Bang Bang Bang.”

“What’s the main focal point of this performance? I would say the main highlight of this song is Lee Seung-hyub’s awesome rap part,” said the members, before performing their punk rock take on the iconic K-pop track.

Following their performance, the app’s live chat room was filled with positive responses that praised the band for their cover.

The members also revealed that they had created covers of AOA’s “Like a Cat” and Twice’s “OOH-AHH.”
